Food and Calligraphy

Long time no see! Yes, I am starting this post with a cliche intro. Its been a long time and so much had happened these past months that I don’t even know what to write about. One thing is for sure, there’s nothing about travels and style posts to share. Honestly, I was consumed with the juggling of school and work. Not complaining though.

Anyway, the thing is we went to Kamuning yesterday to try Bruno’s Pansit Batil Patung sa Kamuning. As a Cagayano, Pansit Batil Patung is a craving we can’t avoid. My law school friends just had to find the recommended place and get it fulfilled.

After eating pansit, we went to Papa Diddi’s Ice Cream for dessert. It was highly recommended by Gelai. The owner was also a fellow Cagayano plus you get to have a free taste upon request. I ordered Tres Leches. It was good considering that they are handcrafted ice creams.

Desserts are the final course of a nice meal but the ice cream was not the last part of our sudden trip to Maginhawa Street. We stopped by Cafe MITHI before going home to buy a new calligraphy ink and a brush pen.

So that’sΒ how I started my long weekend. A supposed to be meeting turned into a food trip which was actually good for my isolate mental status. To my friends who back out on the last minute from the planned travels and adventures:
